Published Interstone Portland reference details.
The story of Portland stone lies within the rugged cliffs of Dorset, beaten by the waves of the English Channel. This warm stylish limestone has long been a protagonist in the architecture of the British Isles and can be found in prestigious buildings such as Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Put to a fresh new use in contemporary sizes and settings, Portland stone has been recreated in large porcelain slabs, which carry the typical lightness and warmth of limestone over large continuous surfaces with a seamless effect. This is a public supplier reference for material planning. Review the published finish, thickness, format, and source information below; final selected material, project details, and availability are confirmed with Stone Alliance.
